MLB brings live baseball to the Amazon Fire TV

The Fire TV’s sports offerings have just become a little better with the arrival of the app. With the NBA already onboard and the NFL Now app coming soon, the Fire TV will soon have the big three names in sports.

The MLB app allows you to watch every regular season game live or on  demand. The app also provides DVR type controls which let you pause and rewind live video. A Premium subscription is required to view content. Those with a standard account will need to upgrade to the premium version. The subscription costs $79.99 a year, or $24.99 if you want to pay monthly.

I know this is an old story but can anyone confirm that the DVR controls work during live games? I thought HLS wasn’t working on Android.
