ITV bringing new hub streaming service to the Fire TV this fall

ITV has announced that they’ll be scrapping their existing ITV Player with a new streaming service called ITV Hub. The new service will house all 6 of their channels (ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, CITV and ITVBe) and provide both live streaming and on-demand access. ITV will be bringing their online access to the Fire TV and Fire TV Stick for the first time with the launch of ITV Hub. There are alreadymultiple ways to watch iTV channels on Fire TV devices, but it’s always nice to see an official app form the network themselves. Hopefully the new app will also bring improvements to their stream video quality. ITV Hub is expected to arrive this fall with new Family Guy and American Dad episodes in tow.

  1. Simon says:

It would be good if they stream in HD like iPlayer as they only stream in SD at present.

  2. Jim says:

I use the Mediahhh App from the Amazon app store or from the Google Play Store. It has about 36 channels of UK Live TV. Go to their website and check it out.
