‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Silicon Valley’, and ‘Veep’ return on HBO April 24th

HBO has announced that Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, and Veep will all return with their new season on April 24th. Game of Thrones will begin their sixth season at 9 p.m., Silicon Valley will follow with their third season premiere at 10 p.m., and Veep will debut its fifth season at 10:30 p.m. to round off the night. You can catch all three shows on the Fire TV through either the HBO Go app, if you have a cable subscription, or through the HBO Now app with a stand-alone subscription. Alternatively, you can add HBO to a Sling TV subscription and watch through the Sling TV app. It’s worth noting that HBO’s annual big night of primers tends to coincide with the launch of a new device or service. Last year, HBO unveiled their new HBO Now service and schedualed its launch to sync with their new season premiers. Perhaps we’ll see HBO come to Amazon’s new add-on subscription service, or the release of the Apple’s long rummored internet TV service come April.
