The game Ticket To Ride has just arrived on the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. This is the official electronic adaptation of the immensely popular board game of the same name. The board game currently sits as the 11th most popular board game sold by Amazon. Ticket To Ride is touted as a game that takes a minute to learn, but a lifetime to master. A detailed, interactive turn-by-turn, in-game tutorial will make learning even easier. The Fire TV version features solo play against up to 4 AI players, local multiplayer play with up to 4 people, and online multiplayer. The online multiplayer is cross-platform, which means there will always be plenty of Android, iOS, Mac, and PC players to play with. Ticket To Ride is compatible with all Fire TV and Fire TV Stick models, and works with either a remote control or game controller.

Local multiplayer? What do you do, look away from the screen when it’s not your turn? Pass and play works with tablets, not so much for a TV. :-P

I’d bet it works with your phone. You Don’t Know Jack did something similar.

We have two Fire TV Sticks on TV’s in two bedrooms, so local play could be quite doable.

It’s local. You connect over your network to the same game. You can also do it “online.” There is also a “pass and play” option where you’re on your honor to not peek. You can also start a private online game and others connect to it. In short, the best way is to have one device per player unless you trust your friends to not peek during the pass and play format.

Hope to get feedback from people actually playing it on a FireTV, most (if not all) the reviews seem to be for Kindle tablets.
