Best New Amazon Fire TV Apps & Games of 2018

The Amazon Fire TV line of devices were already well established at the start of 2018, so most major apps and games were already available on the platform. However, that doesn't mean there weren't notable new Fire TV apps and games released in 2018. I've gone back through all 52 of my weekly lists of newly released apps for 2018 and picked out the best new apps and games of the year.

I wish I had the time to try all of the apps and games listed below, but, unfortunately, I do not. These are just the ones that stood out to me for one reason or another. I'm sure there are new apps that are worthy of being on this list that I missed. Please share any missing apps that you think should be on this list in the comments below.

I try to follow the weekly lists, but it looks like I may have missed a few. This compilation is very helpful!

Gotta say Fitzy tv is pretty cool, replaces a cable box. Only thing it needs is more channels.

Came here to see if you listed FitzyTV.

I use it to get Locast on the FTV sticks. Only way AFAIK.
Glad to see it is listed.

They have offered a year cloud DVR, 25 hr., for $35 a few times now (buy 7 mo., get 5 free).
I don’t really use it but wanted to support the dev.

IF Locast ever comes out with a FTV app I’ll have to decide if I’ll continue on with FitzyTV, I guess that depends a lot on how decent the Locast app is.

Wish you would differentiate which apps are actually free to use and not just free to download. Labeling an app “free” is not really accurate.
