Amazon’s highly anticipated original series ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ is now available through Prime Video

The long wait is over as Amazon’s newest original series, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, makes its debut today on Prime Video. The action-packed 8 episode first season can now be streamed in its entirety. Amazon has put a lot a lot behind this series, which includes a pricey Super Bowl add specifically for the show. They’ve also already greenlit the second season for the series, far ahead of today’s premiere. If you have a Dolby Atmos capable surround sound system, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan is also supposed to be the first content on Amazon to stream using the new sound format.

Heard that the latest tvOS 12 beta should fix this, but can’t confirm because I have no DOlby Atmos capable Audio equipment yet

Hey Bob, on the Roku 4 I get episodes 1 and 2 in Atmos, but not episodes 3 and 4. Haven’t checked the others yet. Also need to check out the Fire TV box.

I read that it should not only be availabe in Dolby Atmos but also in Dolby Vision. Can anyone confirm this?
I tried playing it via the Prime Video App of my Dolby Vision capable LG TV and via Apple TV 4K, but i “only” get it streamed in UHD HDR, not UHD Dolby Vision. Netflix works without problems in UHD Dolby Vision via Apple TV 4k or the Netflix Smart TV App.
