Amazon picks up sci-fi anthology series ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’

Amazon has signed a straight-to-series deal for a 10 episode TV show based on short stories by literary master Philip K. Dick. The series, titled Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams, will feature stand-alone episodes, each based on one of Dick’s short stories. With Dick’s portfolio consisting of great movies like Minority Report, Blade Runner, Total Recall, and even Amazon’s own The Man in the High Castle, the new series has great potential. The series will be created by Ronald D. Moore, of Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica fame, Michael Dinner, who produced Justified, and Bryan Cranston, who is set to star in at least one episode and is already working with Amazon on the series Sneaky Pete. Electric Dreams should be a great series to finally bring some science fiction to Amazon’s lineup of original shows.

A “who’s who” of Scifi Royalty on this one, hopefully it pans out.
Is there any way to find out when this will premier? A year maybe?
Does Amazon have any specific contract guidelines for “Script to Screen” for their original shows or does it vary?
