Amazon Echo coming to over 3,000 retail stores like Sears, Home Depot, Brookstone, and more

The Amazon Echo’s will be available for purchase from thousands of retail stores in the coming weeks. Staples has been the exclusive retail seller of the Echo for several months, but now Amazon is expanding its retail presence to include 11 additional stores including ABT, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Brookstone, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, HH Gregg, Home Depot, P.C. Richard & Son, Radio Shack, RC Willey, and Sears. Having owned and used the Amazon Echo daily for several months now, it really is a product you need to try in your home to really appreciate. It’s not a revolution in any one way, but it adds numerous small conveniences throughout your day. Being able to purchase it locally, and return it easily if you’re unhappy with the purchase, is a great way to see if you’ll like the Echo as much as I have. Remember, Amazon is still running a promotion that lets you buy an Echo for $50 off its retail price.
