Amazon has just updated their most popular e-reader, the Kindle Paperwhite, with a crisper higher resolution screen. The new screen features twice the resolution as the previous model, now with the same 300 pixels-per-inch density found on the more expensive Kindle Voyage. This new Kindle Paperwhite leaves little reason to splurge for the more expensive Kindle Voyage, unless you feel a flush glass screen and physical buttons are worth the extra $80. The updated e-reader is also the first Kindle to feature Amazon’s new exclusive font, Bookerly, which Amazon “crafted from the ground up for faster reading with less eyestrain.” The new Kindle Paperwhite carries the same $119 price as the previous model and will begin shipping out at the end of this month.
