Alexa on the Echo can now teach you about its features and help with New Year’s resolutions

Not having a visual interface with Alex on the Amazon Echo can be a bit frustrating at times when you can’t figure out the correct commands to use a specific feature. Alexa can now help a bit be telling you how to do certain tasks. Just ask “Alexa, how do I …” and say a feature or task you want to learn about. Saying “Alexa, how do I connect my calendar” will direct you to the appropriate section of the Alexa app, or saying “Alexa, how do I add music” will inform you that you can simply say “Alexa, add this song to my library” while any song is being played.

Alexa also has a few ways to help with your New Year’s resolution. If better fitness is on your resolution list, you can try the 7-Minute Workout Alexa skill, which will guide you through a short workout every day. You can also try a high energy playlist, like Cardio Dance Workout or Modern Country Workout, to get your body moving. If fitness isn’t on your list, try asking “Alexa, what is your New Year’s resolution?” to get some ideas from Alexa.

  2. Dan says:

“Alexa, how do I use you in the UK?!?”

  3. boudyka says:

@Dan, you can’t. Not available in the UK.(Annoyingly!)
